Folk Group
The folk group has a long tradition in the Green for many years. The girls meet once a week in preparation for regular Saturday evening masses. The girls participate in all aspects of the masses, they sing, they read the lessons, prepare reflections and even decorate the hall to create a warm and welcoming environment.
Folk group brings to life the Loreto ethos where students from first to sixth year not only sing together but form friendships built on a shared love of music and fun. The masses offer an occasion for parents, teachers and students to celebrate the mass in a unique way and to meet in an informal setting over a cup of tea after the mass.
