On Monday September 2nd the 4B and 4G classes accompanied by Ms Crinion, Ms O’Connor and Ms Davies travelled to Achill for our 3 day adventure trip.

There was little rest after an almost 5 hour bus journey and our groups were immediately thrown into all sorts of activities, such as mountain boarding and coasteering, all of which were new to us. Over the 3 days all the groups went canoeing, mountain boarding, coasteering and surfing. These activities were always great fun and involved huge waves, jumping off high rocks, bog facials and a lot of jellyfish. At night there were lots of scary stories (courtesy of Molly and Orla), fun team building games and sing songs.

We had a great trip, everyone tried new things, made new friends and we even saved a sheep.  The instructors were excellent and helped us get the most out of our trip. This trip would not have been possible without Ms O’Connor, Ms Crinion and Ms Davies who gave up their free time to accompany us on the trip and we are all very grateful.
