On the 26th of April, the girls from 4th year who didn't go on the Gaisce hike went on a trip to Corcaigh Park to take part in the first Inter Loreto Orienteering Event. When we got there, we were put into teams of six.  Two of the girls from each Loreto school represented their teams and the aim of the day was to build stronger links between the schools and learn about Orienteering. 

We all got a pack which contained maps, coloured name tags and finger tags which we used to scan in at the boxes on the marked points on the map.  It was a challenging task working together and learning how to read a map the right way!! 

Well done to Sophie Fagan (4M) and Shona Meagher (4M) who were part of the winning team.  It was a very successful day and brought us closer together as friends. 

A huge thank you to Ms.Crinion for organising the whole day for us and thanks to Chris for accompanying us on the day out.  It was a very enjoyable day overall!!
