On Friday 16th May the annual TY basketball match was held in the Sports Hall in aid of the Blue Ribbon Fund. It was a euro in for each student and we raised over €350 on the day which was great. While next year’s fourth years sat on the side line and gathered tactics, both teams gave it their all and unfortunately on the day the Belvedere team defeated us narrowly in the very last minute, by one basket. It was a fantastic day for both teams and a great opportunity to raise money for a very important cause.
