Well done to Ciara Barry, Anna Bourguignon, Caoilainn Carey, Sophie Bannon and Ellie Deevy who qualified for the Leinster final of the National Junior Mace Debating competition.  Over 300 students took part in the early rounds of this competition with the top 80 speakers qualifying for the Leinster final in Colaiste Bride.  The girls spoke excellently on the day and can be very proud of how well they have done this year. 
In addition to this, Caoilainn and Sophie have recently qualified, as one of only five Irish teams, to travel to Cambridge next May and take part in the finals day of the International Competition for Young Debaters.  This will be a fantastic opportunity for the girls to test themselves against the best young debaters in the world.  Well done girls.
