Well done to Sarah Duffy, Niamh Ryan, Sorcha O Tighnearnaigh, Rachael Mullally, Deirbhile Kearney, Ella McLoughlin and Aishling Kinsella who all spoke excellently in the Semi-finals of the Leinster Schools Debating competition.  Sarah and Niamh have qualified for the Final.  A big thank you to all the supporters who gave up their evening to go along and support our speakers.  It was much appreciated.

Good luck to Niamh Ryan and Aishling Kinsella who travel to Oxford this weekend to compete in the Finals Day of the Oxford Schools Debating competition.

Last night (12 March) was the Final of the Aoife Begley Memorial Debating competition in NUI Maynooth with two Loreto speakers among the 12 finalists.  We are delighted to announce that they finished 1st and 2nd overall.  Congratulations to Rachael Mullally who came runner-up and to Deirbhile Kearney who won the competition.  Well done girls !
