On Monday 31st of August all Transition Year students travelled to Co. Mayo. 4B and 4G travelled  to Achill Adventure Centre and 4M and 4T went to Uisce Adventure Centre.

Activities such as abseiling, archery, coasteering, hill walking, kayaking, pier jumping, rock climbing and surfing were organised for us to take part in. There were also team bonding games such as the human knot and the spider web which we found challenging and great fun!!  We tried to surf the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. However this proved to be easier said than done.  The instructors kept the atmosphere alive with plenty of jokes and laughter throughout the three days.

This was a lovely start to the year and we would like to thank the following teachers for accompanying us and giving up their free time –  Ms. Prendergast, Ms. Ryan, Ms. Egan , Mr. Bain and Magda.

A special thank you to Ms. Crinion for organising the two trips. Both trips were a great success.
