The 6th Year Geography classes visited Knockree Co. Wicklow on 5th October, to complete their Geographical investigation in the Glencree  River. They were investigating the impact of the processes of transportation and deposition on the formation of a meander. The students enjoyed calculating the velocity, measuring valley profile and analysing the bedload as part of their investigation and will now write up their results over the coming weeks.
