Dear Friends,

Today is a special day in South Sudan as we celebrate the Feast of St. Josephine Bakhita.  St. Bakhita is considered the Patron of modern day slavery and trafficking.

Forced marriage has recently been added into the statistics of modern day slavery and sadly this is a regular reality for us in Loreto Rumbek.

Our Secondary School Girls have just begun their new school year while the Primary School begins next week.
