We are thrilled to announce that the author Dave Rudden will be joining us for the remainder of the academic year, as our Writer-in-Residence here at Loreto on the Green. Dave is the author of the hugely popular Knights of the Borrowed Dark series, as well as having extensive writing experience for the screen and RPGs, and we are really looking forward to experiencing first hand his infectious enthusiasm for all things creative! He will be providing creative writing workshops for 6th Years and TYs to hone their writing skills further. These skills will be on show with our new 6th Year and TY Writing Awards that will mark the bicentenary of Teresa Ball and hopefully endure long into the future.

The 6th Year Writing Award will be presented at Graduation and will be for a body of work. The TY prize, in addition to an individual winner, will also be part of a Loreto-wide competition.
