The pupils of Loreto College, St Stephen’s Green have surprisingly good facilities for sport considering the location of the school in the heart of Dublin city. The large Sports Hall, with its beautiful sprung maple floor, has been central to these activities since its official opening in 1989. A wonderful asset, all pupils have the opportunity to use the hall each week for the various activities available as well as for curricular PE classes. It has been used for Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cross-Country Running, Cricket, Dance, Hockey, Soccer, Tennis and Table Tennis.

We have an Astroturf pitch. The pitch is a wonderful resource benefiting everyone making it possible to play a variety of sports on this all-weather surface, such as Hockey, Tennis, Rounders and to train for other sports such as Athletics.
