Gaelic Games is Ireland’s most popular sporting activity. It promotes team spirit and physical fitness in all those who take part in its games. In Loreto College we play Gaelic Football and Camogie. In this school the emphasis is placed on participation and enjoyment of the sport. There are weekly lunchtime training sessions in the school which cater for all levels of ability, from absolute beginner to experienced inter-county player.

We compete in Leinster schools tournaments in both codes and at a variety of age groups. Playing Gaelic Games is a great way to build up bonds of friendship with teammates, maintain a level of physical fitness and take a well deserved break from academic study. Above all it is a fun and enjoyable experience.
